An Abundance of Inspiration

It seems like nowadays the trends incorporate styles from all eras and for some of us it can be difficult to get inspired within our own wardrobes. Luckily  blogs & websites, such as Pinterest, are around to give us all the inspiration we could need.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Pinterest it is a website which allows its users to showcase photographs on pinboard-style boards. You are able to create and manage your own image collections on individual themed boards. From events to interests, you name it and Pinterest will have it. Users can browse other pin-boards for inspiration and ‘re-pin’ images to their own collections. Much like other social networking sites you are able to comment on or ‘like’ photos and follow other users boards.
Not only is Pinterest a great way for individuals to collect images of their favourite cuisines, dresses or style eras, but it is a brilliant way for businesses to showcase their latest promotions. For me, the Vintage Deli’s  photo shoots and new additions to the Burnham Market Boutique are the things that really catch my attention. Searching through the boards there is an endless supply of inspiration for lovers of all things Vintage. The Vintage Fairground photo shoot is one of my personal loves with beautiful dresses bursting with colour taken on Great Yarmouth’s Pleasure Beach.
From looking for hairstyle inspiration, to ideas on what to style my favorite skirt with, I often find myself spending a good portion of the morning trawling through Pinterest to find the perfect look to suit the day. Pinterest is rapidly becoming the most popular way for people to showcase their creative flair. However, with rumours of copyright concerns nobody can be sure how long it will be around for. For now at least, we will continue to use it for all of our creative needs.
